The new Board of Directors was instituted at Cedarbrook’s annual meeting in November. Andy Van Horn and John Barnes will be serving as club president and vice president, respectively.
On behalf of all the members, the board offers a huge thank you to outgoing board president Helen Williams who gave countless hours to the club during her two year term. The club greatly appreciates Helen’s leadership and dedication. We are grateful that Helen will continue on the board as a member-at-large.
The club also thanks long-time board members Mike Kirvan and Vince George for the time and energy they have devoted to Cedarbrook for the past several years.
Finally, we welcome returning board member Matt Grandonico and new board member Tad Farrington.
See you at the pool in 2014!

Instructions for New Sign-in Process
Starting Saturday July 13th, there will be a new sign-in procedure at the front desk. The guards managing the front desk are required to enforce this policy, so thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding as everyone gets used to the new system.
1. One adult family member must sign-in for the family. The adult must enter his/her first and last name and the street where the family lives.
(Since several members have the same last names, the first names and street addresses are required. There is no need to list the house number.)
2. The person signing the book must write down how many members are with him/her and how many, if any, guests are accompanying the members.
Here is an example:
John Doe / Puller Dr. / 3 members / 0 guests
3. Any children entering the pool without a parent must also sign-in the same way. If they are not capable of doing this then they are not capable of being at the pool without adult supervision.
(Reminder: Children must be 8 years old and able to pass the swim test to be at the pool without adult supervision. If they cannot pass the swim test then they must be 10 years old to be at the pool alone.)
If you start to enter the bath house without signing the book, the guard at the desk will ask you or someone in your party to stop and sign-in.
The Lost & Found will be cleared out at the end of the day on the following dates:
Please be sure to check the Lost & Found regularly and claim your things. Anything not claimed will go to charity or be discarded (if in bad condition).
The hours for the week of July 15-20 have been updated. The pool will open at 10 AM every day that week (not noon as originally posted).
Independence Day at Cedarbrook
Cedarbrook has lots of fun planned for Independence Day — lots of activities, games, music and Los Lobos Burritos to satisfy your hunger needs.
Swim lessons and swim team practice will occur as usual. The pool is open from noon to 7 p.m. Please click here for an easy to print schedule or see the Game Schedule below.
Don’t forget that Los Lobos Burritos will be at Cedarbrook from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (The pool won’t be accessible until noon, but you can get onto the club property to buy burritos and picnic at 11.) This is one of the top food trucks in the area. See you at the pool.
Please note the following swim team activities that will cause the pool to open a little later or close a little earlier on the dates listed below.
June 22nd – Saturday – Pool opens at NOON (home meet in the morning)
June 26th – Wednesday – Pool closes at 4 PM (home meet)
June 29th – Saturday – Pool opens at Noon (home meet)
July 3rd – Wednesday – Pool closes at 4 PM (home meet)
July 13th – Saturday – Pool opens at NOON (home meet)
July 14th – Sunday – Pool opens at NOON (Blue/White meet at 10am)
Please note that due to swim team time trials on Saturday, June 8th, the pool will open at NOON instead of the usual 10 a.m.
