Below you will find the swim team calendar, kiddie hawk info, and directions to away meets.

Practices/Pep Rallies:
Tuesday, May 27th: Afternoon Practices for swim team start

5 - 6pm for 8 years and unders

6 - 7pm for 9-12 year olds

7 - 8pm for the 13 years and up swimmers. 

Tuesday May 27, 7pm:  MANDATORY Swim Team Parents Meeting at the pool – parents of new and returning swimmers. 

Friday, June 13 – July 11:  Morning Practices start 

M-Th:  8 – 9:30am:  11 years and older swimmers
9:30 – 10:30am:  10 years and under swimmers, including kiddie  hawks
Fridays: 9-10am.  Only Seahawks swimmers (not kiddie hawks) 
Afternoon practices: M-TU-TH: 5:30-6:30pm using 1-2 lanes of the pool    Seahawk swimmers only (not kiddie hawks)           
Monday, July 14- 18:  9am practice for Divisional swimmers only           
 Monday, July 21-25:  9am practice for All-Star swimmers only            
PEP RALLIES: usually start 6pm at playground, followed by pizza for team                       
Friday, June 13 Team Photo all swimmers (5:30pm?)                       
Friday, June 20, 27, July 4,11,18

Directions to Away Meets

2008 Cedarbrook Meets:  DIRECTIONS TO AWAY MEETS

Connecticut BelAir Pool – 3901 Ferrara Dr. Silver Spring, MD 20906 (301) 946-4500      

From Kensington:  driving time aprox. 10-15 minutes

·         Take Connecticut Ave. north. 

·         Go approximately 3 miles to the traffic light @ Viers Mill Rd.  Turn left onto Viers Mill. 

·         At the first traffic light turn left onto Ferrara Ave. 

·         At the first stop sign turn left onto Ferrara Dr. 

·         Connecticut Belair is on your left. 

Damascus - 28730 Woodfield Rd., Damascus, MD 20872   (301) 253-9803

From I-270

  • From Rt. 270 take exit #9 for Rt. 370 East.
  • Take exit for Shady Grove Road East.
  • Stay on Shady Grove Road for approximately 3 miles to the Intersection of Route 124 (Woodfield Road)
  • Turn Right at Route 124 (Woodfield Road) and proceed North approximately 8 miles
  • Damascus Recreation Association is on left side just after Valley Park Drive.
 

Germantown  - 18905 Kingsview Dr, Germantown   (301) 601-1690

From I-270

  • Take exit 13 West(Middlebrook Rd.)
  • Go left on Great Seneca Highway.  
  • Take a right on Clopper Rd.  
  • Proceed across Rt.118. 
  • Take the first right turn onto King's View Dr. 
  • The pool is on the right.

 Old Georgetown Pool – 9600 Fernwood Rd. Bethesda, MD 20853 (301) 469-9772    

From Kensington:  driving time aprox. 20 minutes

·         Knowles Ave towards Rockville Pike

·         Left on Rockville Pike

·         Right on Tuckerman Lane

·         Left on Old Georgetown Rd.

·         Right on Democracy Blvd.

·         Left on Fernwood Dr.

·         Cross Bridge over the Beltway

·         Second driveway after the bridge is Old Georgetown

Olney Mill - 3611 Briars Rd, Olney, MD 20830   (301) 774-0777      

From Connecticut Ave:  driving time aprox. 40 minutes

  • Travel north on Connecticut Ave
  • Left (north) on Georgia Ave.  Cross over intersection with Rt. 108.  
  • Continue north for ~ 3/4 mile.
  •  Turn left onto Heritage Hills Drive.  
  • At first stop sign turn right onto Briars Road.  
  • Pool is on right at bottom of hill.

 Rockville  - 355 Martins lane, Rockville MD

From Rockville Pike:  driving time aprox. 20-25 minutes

  • Take Rockville Pike north towards Rockville 
  • Take a left at light at E. Middle Lane (Metro stop is on the right)
  • Take a right on N. Washington St.
  • Left on  Martins Lane
  • Pool is on left past stop sign (usually people directing you where to turn in to park)
 Stonebridge “Sharks” - 14801 Stonebridge View Drive, North Potomac 301-384-9705

      From I-270: driving time aprox. 30 minutes
  • Take Exit 9B - Sam Eig Hwy to its end.
  • Right on Great Seneca Hwy (North).
  • Left on Muddy Branch Road (1st traffic light)
  • Cross over Route 28 - Darnestown Road
  • Left on Stonebridge View Drive (2nd left - 1/4 mile)
  • Pool is on immediate left

From Rockville Pike: driving time aprox. 15-20 minutes

  • Go  North on Rockville Pike
  • Turn Left at light on Nicholson Lane
  • Cross Old Georgetown Road - road name changes to Tilden Lane
  • Continue onTilden Lane about one mile or so.  Pool is on left right after Tilden
    Wood Park.      Parking on street, some in pool lot, also in park on left before you reach pool.
